Box: If Blythe Danner, Lily Tomlin and Charlotte Rampling can get great roles this year, why are we letting Diane Keaton stuck in this drivel?

1. Spectre - $30m / $127m / $200m
2. The Peanuts Movie - $29m / $83.5m / $165m
3. The 33 - $9m / $9m / $27m
4. Love the Coopers - $7m / $7m / $22m
5. The Martian - $5.5m / $206m / $220m
6. Goosebumps - $4m / $72m / $80m
**Bridge of Spies - $4m / $61m / $75m
8. My All-American - $3.5m / $3.5m / $10m
9. Hotel Transylvania 2 - $2m / $164m / $168m
10. Spotlight - $1.5m / $2m / $50m

Spectre and Peanuts will be in a tight race for #1, easily holding off three films that will be lucky to make $20m between them. A few weeks ago, I might have thought The 33 had breakout potential but buzz is very soft and reviews are mediocre. Spotlight did very well last weekend, and will probably make the top 10 this weekend. Brooklyn also did very solid business. Spotlight expands to 500+ theaters next weekend, while Brooklyn will be in that number the day before Thanksgiving. Mockingjay revives things next weekend.
