Suggest Presenters

The Golden Globes are currently releasing some of their scheduled presenters for their upcoming award show. One of the things I look forward to every year is the list of people who will stroll onstage to give out awards, present clips, ramble on for 2 minutes or introduce other presenters.

Here is the current roster for the Globes:

Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Gerard Butler, Cher, Chace Crawford, Robert De Niro, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo Dicaprio, Colin Farrell, Jodie Foster, Matthew Fox, Jennifer Garner, Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks, Neil Patrick Harris, Nicole Kidman, Sofia Loren, Julia Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Kiefer Sutherland, Kate Winslet and Sam Worthington

I'm guessing that's about half the people that will end up presenting.


For the Oscars this year, may I suggest:

(I liked last year's producers idea that only people who appeared in movies during the previous year should present. And past Oscar winners, of course.)

Meryl Streep. Let her present Best Picture. PLEASE!

And isn't it sort of weird that Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have yet to make an Oscar appearance?

Oh, Sean Penn, Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz and either Michael Caine or Morgan Freeman (stepping in for Heath Ledger) as well.
