Two openers for Super Bowl weekend, and looks like neither will break out of single digits. The first is the long delayed The Rhythm Section. I'm glad this film is finally being released as I think the trailer has been on just about every movie I've seen in the past four or five months. Reviews are not good. No reviews yet for Gretel and Hansel, though I'm expecting they won't be great. Horror has really hit a wall in the past 3 months or so. The Turning became the 2nd film released this month to get an F from Cinemascore. Drops for all the other holdovers should be good given the low openings of the newcomers. Birds of Prey is the only opener next weekend, but that should liven things up a bit.
