After the worst October in over a decade, November looks good. Lots of potential from here until the end of the year. I think opening the Bad Moms sequel so early in the holiday season is a bit of a mistake. I would have gone for Thanksgiving, which now looks empty as far as wide releases go. The early release will give it some legs, though. As for Thor, it's not exactly a shocking statement to say this will easily be the highest grossing of that franchise. LBJ is opening just over the wide threshold, something I wasn't even aware of until this weekend. Lady Bird and Last Flag Flying open in limited. The former will be the one to keep an eye on. It will probably be A24's #1 Oscar priority, if not The Florida Project which continues to do decent numbers in limited.
