Don't Breathe has terrific reviews and solid marketing. Come on, audiences - don't fuck this up! Let's make Jane Levy the star she deserves to be. The Mechanic: Resurrection is another Jason Statham sequel that will do about $20m total and then do okay overseas. Hands of Stone and Southside With You open in about 800ish theaters, the latter was a last minute decision. Hands is actually going to expand next weekend, but I think it's a futile attempt at building word of mouth. Summer is pretty much over. It's been a disappointing one. Ben-Hur may surpass The BFG as biggest bomb of the summer.
