American Sniper is set to explode this weekend. Likely $50m+ for the 4-day. The Wedding Ringer opens in the same spot that gave Ride Along a huge gross last January, but this is R-rated and Hart's star cooled over the course of last year. I'm sure it'll still do fine. Paddington has sleeper buzz and has done very well overseas. Michael Mann gets what may be his most low profile release in ages as Blackhat seems to have been dumped. The awards movies will all stay flat, and most will get big expansions next week. I liked it better when nominations were announced on a Tuesday so bookings could be adjusted accordingly.
