Guardians comes in to either give this lackluster summer a slight bump or finish it off completely.  Hopefully the former.  Marvel has been invincible so far.  Earlier in the year, I would have thought Get On Up would go higher, but there seems to be not much buzz.  Reviews are positive so it should have some legs.  Lucy scored one of the most impressive debuts of the year and officially cemented ScarJo as a box-office force.  I really hope Marvel is starting to regret not making a Black Widow movie.  Consider in the past year we've had Gravity, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Frozen, Divergent, Maleficent and now Lucy.  When are studios going to get it that ass-kicking women can bring in serious bank?
