X-Men arrives, seemingly unaffected by the Singer scandal.  That has, not surprisingly, died down since it first broke about a month ago.  Godzilla went higher than expected but mixed word of mouth will prevent it from taking the summer crown.  This begs the question - what will?  I don't want to believe another Transformers movie might do it, and I think the predictions for How To Train Your Dragon 2 are a little too optimistic.  Blended will put an end to Sandler's hot streak, but why does he have to take Drew down with him????  Chef expands to just under 500 theaters, hoping to be a mini-sleeper.
