51/70 = 72.9%

I think that's about average for me. Last time I predicted these I got 52/70, so the reforms they made behind the scenes didn't make these too unpredictable.

Looking at the TV noms just gives me a headache. Soooo many shows.

Banshees led with 8, which is the most nominations a single film has gotten since 2003. Worth nothing that the film was Cold Mountain, which only won one award.

As for snubs, the big one was Danielle Deadwyler. That was kind of a shock, but Women Talking also performed below expectations. Till and Women are both from the same studio, so that might have something to do with it. Cruise also missed, so that returning his Globes thing did hurt him.

Oh, dear... Brad Pitt. That's gonna be awkward.

Supporting Actress continues to be crazy. Condon, JLC, and Dolly might be the top 3 right now.

SAG is announcing the day after the ceremony in just about a month.

It'll be interesting to see if the industry shows up for the show. I think they will.
