Watch The Oscars!

Marion in a true movie star shot. Love her!
Scarlett's ready for the big night
The 87th Academy Awards - the Oscars! - airs tonight on ABC. Official red carpet coverage begins at 7PM Eastern, with the show starting at 8:30PM.

Neil Patrick Harris is the host, previously hosting both the Emmys and the Tonys. (All he needs is to host the Grammy's and he'll be the first ever EGOT host.)

Kerry and a stand-in are so excited to find out who wins
Scheduled to perform the nominated songs during the telecast are John Legend and Common, Adam Levine and Maroon 5, Tim McGraw, Rita Ora, and Tegan and Sara joined by The Lonely Island. Additionally, Jack Black, Jennifer Hudson, Anna Kendrick and Lady Gaga will perform.

I'm just hoping for a show that's not too cringe-worthy. Last year was a massive improvement from the year before, and I'm sensing this show will fall somewhere in between.

On the red carpet, I can't wait for Emma Stone. She's really brought it this season and I'm hoping she saved the best for last. As for the show, excited for Julianne and Patricia's wins and the performance of "Everything Is Awesome". Hoping for lots of standing ovations and a lively audience like last year. Can I just say that the surprise of this season has been finding out what a humble and lovely human being Patricia Arquette is? It's a shame her Oscar win will be followed up by some lame CSI show.

In the meantime, there's a Buzzfeed game that tells you which Oscar nominee you are. I got Bradley. I'm going to take this again until I get Emma, damn it!

Enjoy the Oscars, everybody!
I'd photoshop something dirty into Chris's hands, but I'm a gentleman.

I enjoy reading your predictions every year Darren, though this year I put money on Birdman to win Best Picture so the fact that you're taking Boyhood has me a bit worried. Hope all is well.
