The big surprise last weekend was Instructions Not Included.  Lionsgate is being hesistant with a big expansion, only adding over a hundred or so theaters.  Many similar films have dropped big their second weekends (and from there on out, too), but Instructions not being so frontloaded last weekend and doing robust business throughout the weekend means there might be some crossover appeal.  I really doubt it breaks out, though.  Riddick is the only opener this weekend and will see numbers similar to the standard Resident Evil sequel, all of which opened in this exact slot.
