I caught Shenae on Chelsea. The clip they showed was great, and I liked Shenae in the leaked B-roll footage. But, god!, she is the sterotypical annoying young CW actress.

I went soft on all the openers. WOW @ Limitless - now with legs? I guess breaking off your fake relationship with Renee Zellweger does a career wonders. Hopefully Jake Gyllenhaal's very well reviewed film can do similar business.

Box Office: Spike the Punch
1. Sucker Punch - $24m / $24m / $60m
2. Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 - $22m / $22m / $70m
3. Limitless - $10m / $36.5m / $60m
4. Rango - $9m / $105.5m / $128m
5. Lincoln Lawyer - $8.5m / $26.5m / $46m
6. Battle: Los Angeles - $8m / $73m / $92m
7. Paul - $7m / $24m / $40m
8. Red Riding Hood - $4m / $32m / $40m
9. Mars Needs Moms - $3.5m / $20.5m / $28m
10. Adjustment Bureau - $3m / $53.5m / $60m
The original Wimpy Kid, which opened around one year ago, made over $20m in its opening weekend, but didn't have the typical family film legs. It faced How to Train Your Dragon, but this one has lighter competition for now. A #1 victory for the sequel isn't out of the question, as Sucker Punch could go either way. The reviews were held off till late, and most coming out aren't the kindest. I think the special effects and hot girrrrrls should save it from bombing spectacularly. Shocked that Limitless did as well as it did last weekend, I guess people love Cooper now.

Massive Scream 4 Updates
+According to Wes Craven's twitter, the film was screened for the press tonight and the reception was very good. Woot.
+The film's premiere will be held on April 11th in Hollywood. I can't wait to see how many past Screamers (Liev, Skeet, Rose, SMG, Parker) will attend.
+The soundtrack comes out on April 12th, and will feature The Sounds, Ida Maria and some of Marco Beltrami's score. Preorder it from Amazon here.
+TV SPOT!
+INTERVIEWS!
ALISON BRIE: (I never knew she talked like this? It doesn't sound like Annie from Community at all.)
ADAM BRODY: (He's so cute, but he looks like he's about to vomit.)
DAVID ARQUETTE AND COURTENEY COX: (bittersweet awww, Courteney looks gorgeous btw)
+B-ROLL FOOTAGE! - featuring a lot of the cast including Anna Paquin delivering some very self referential dialogue
+CLIPS!
I have to see these clips are very promising. It just felt so....Scream.

Box Office: I thought we were done with McConaughey
1. Battle: Los Angeles - $19m / $66m / $108m
2. Rango - $14.5m / $91.5m / $126m
3. Paul - $11m / $11m / $30m
4. The Lincoln Lawyer - $10m / $10m / $34m
5. Limitless $8m / $8m / $24m
6. Red Riding Hood - $7m / $26m / $40m
7. The Adjustment Bureau - $6.5m / $49.5m / $64m
8. Mars Needs Moms - $4m / $14.5m / $25m
9. Hall Pass - $3m / $40m / $46m
10. Gnomeo and Juliet - $2.5m / $94m / $100m
But apparently Lincoln Lawyer is actually good? Go figure. I originally thought Paul would do the least of these given Pegg & Frost's track record of high teens/low twenties grossers, but I think it looks the best of the three openers and I guess there hasn't been too many broad comedies of late (Hall Pass and Just Go With It both have shown decent legs). Despite also pulling in okay reviews, Limitless has a dumb plotline and will be a non-starter. I'm kinda happy Mars Needs Moms bombed as big as it did as it looked genuinely creepy. $150m budget, and it will only make about $25m. Awesome.

Box: Amanda Seyfried In Da Hood
1. Battle: Los Angeles - $32m / $32m / $100m
2. Rango - $20m / $66m / $115m
3. Red Riding Hood - $18m / $18m / $48m
4. Mars Needs Moms - $15m / $15m / $50m
5. Adjustment Bureau - $11.5m / $38.5m / $62m
6. Hall Pass - $5m / $35m / $46m
7. Beastly - $5m / $17m / $27m
8. Gnomeo and Juliet - $4.5m / $90m / $102m
9. The King's Speech - $4m / $129.5m / $140m
10. Unknown - $3.5m / $58.5m / $66m
Big surprise from last weekend isn't the just-slightly-underwhelming performance of Rango, but rather it getting a C+ from Cinemascore. The last family aimed film to get that low was Where the Wild Things Are, and that film's opening was just a little less than half its final gross. I expect Rango should have better legs, but by family films' standards, it'll still be low. I've stated for awhile now that Little Red Riding Hood has the potential to make a great movie, but alas the Catherine Hardwicke-directed film opening Friday doesn't look to be it. Mars Needs Moms just looks creepy, so Battle: Los Angeles - with its spectacular trailer - should have an easy journey to #1 and probably be there next weekend, too.

Box Office: Damon and Blunt need no adjusting
1. Rango - $48m / $48m / $185m
2. The Adjustment Bureau - $16m / $16m / $46m
3. Beastly - $10m / $10m / $28m
4. Gnomeo and Juliet - $8.5m / $85.5m / $106m
5. The King's Speech - $7.5m / $125m / $142m
6. Unknown - $7m / $54m / $70m
7. Hall Pass - $7m / $25m / $40m
8. Take Me Home Tonight - $6.5m / $6.5m / $19m
9. Just Go With It - $6m / $88m / $102m
10. Justin Bieber - $5.5m / $70m / $82m
Emily Blunt has two movies in the top 5! Box office gets some life breathed into it courtesy of the Johnny Depp animated film, which has the potential to be the first $200m+ of the year. Depending on the opening, I think it'll just fall short. Beastly, which was expected to be some kind of mini-Twilight, looks like it'll be a big miss, while the the week's other opener, Take Me Home Tonight, finally hits after a nearly three year delay. It was filmed in early 2007. So how much of an Oscar bump will The King's Speech get?

Scream 4 Gets MPAA Rating, Blu-Ray News
Rated R for strong bloody violence, language and some teen drinking.
Also, the original trilogy will be coming to Bluray on March 29 courtesy of LionsGate. I don't believe there is a planned boxed set, all of the films will be available for purchase separately.
